I am working with configuration of RFx documents. There is standard collection LINE_ITEMS in Line Items Tab. In a column INTERNAL_CAT Product Category is displayed. Do you know whether there is any possibility to hide system from which this Product Category was replicated? Client would like to see just the Product Category without Integrated system.

We are operating ESourcing/CLM 9.0.16 with Netweaver 7.40 and ECC 6.17 on a windows NT operating system. Our PI logs are showing and overabundance of errors, and upon further examination, our basis group has determined that IIS was not installed correctly on our production PI server. Is it necessary to have IIS running on our PI server? I remember we needed IIS for contract generation when we upgraded from Esourcing 5.1 to 9.0, but is it required in PI? Is it possible to remove it from this server?

Hello,
I have a problem with standard module BBP_ES_OA_UPDATE. It is the only one I found that can be used both for creating material and service contracts (these in EKKO table).
I am able to create material contract, however it is impossible to do the same for service contract as it has slightly different structure.
I'm afraid that FM has problem with binding document item with service line, despite the fact that it seems I enter it properly (fields EXTROW and PACKNO?).
Either the following error occurs:
SE 478 No reference services exist
or the contract is being created but with no service lines.
The numbers of package I was testing were correct and they always referred to several service lines in ESLL table.
Did you have any experience with BBP_ES_OA_UPDATE?
Or maybe you know other module that is capable of creating both material and service contracts?

Hi,
We are on Sourcing 7.0 version. We have a business requirement of automating the upload process.
Currently, for any agreement uploads, we prepare workbooks as per the data provided by business and upload using contract and document importer.
This new requirement requires our CLM system to receive files from a Web application containing agreement data and CLM should be able to import the files and create corresponding agreements as and when it receives the file.
Is there a way to implement the above scenario thereby automatic the contract creation process without manual creation and upload?
Appreciate any helpful pointers.

Hi Folks,
We recently had an issue, where the Queued messages folder kept growing with number of "pending " messages and emails stopped for nearly 12 hours.
Everything from SMTP to Daemons was checked and we found no specific pointers to why this issue occurred.
We restarted the e sourcing system as a last resort and everything turned fine, 0 Queued 100% processed messages status "Sent"
Any clues, so as to why this issue occurs??

What's the SAP recommended size for attachments, so that the system performance is also optimum and Users are also able to upload somewhat larger attachments.
Properties:
attachments.maxSizeKB.buyers
attachments.maxSizeKB.sellers
attachments attachments.upload.file.extension_list: Also is zip and .rar is a recommended format?

We have recently migrated our Sourcing CI to Linux, and ERS ( with HA ). after the migration, facing performance issues with the sourcing application and reports.
The Oracle database is not touched and it is not migrated.
Is there any sourcing specific tool to analyze and trace the reports performance ?
Any help on this is appreciated.

If I try to do it, the error message 'a duplicate member in the collection was found' appears.

Hello all,
I received a request to remove the 'EDIT' option from the supplier toolbar and leave only 'EDIT SUPPLIER VIA WORKFLOW' option.
The request was made for 3 roles. It is working for one of them, 'System admin', which is not a good example as the role is having rights for almost everything in the system. For that role was enough to set:
- EDIT: Not allow
- Supplier Modification via Workflow: Allow everything (create, edit, view...)
However, this settings seem to be not enough for the other 2 roles. In addition to the settings above, I set ALLOW access to:
- Supplier Modification Requests
- Supplier Configurable Phase Definition
- Vendor Account Groups
- Workflow definition
- Workflow process owner
- Workflow trigger
And nothing, the option of EDIT SUPPLIER VIA WORKFLOW does not appear in the toolbar. Does anybody know the combination of rights to make the functionality visible?

We have a requirement to duplicate MA, we are able to achieve this. The metadata is getting copied into the duplicate agreement. However, the data from the contract document, especially the selected clauses and sections within the customized contract does not get considered.
We could not find any API's in the contract generation screen so that we can retrieve and preselect the clauses and section from the already created document..
Is this correct that there are no API's avialble?

We are in eSourcing 9.0. sp16 pack.
We are using <%GET(CurrentDocument,STATUS)%> approach in one query to
get status information from Master Agreement but in this case, filter
gets locked and user can not select any value other than default value.
We want to default status from Master Agreement at the same time allow
user to select any other value than defaulted value from the value list.Let us know if this can be achieved.
the standard query ODP-ESO-ContractHierarchyPickerQuery behaves
differently(Java code). it does not use Get token + it gets the default value and
user is able to select a diff value
Please guide if this can be achieved.

I had a question about the Search XML Extract scheduled task that runs every day(midnight) in the background for the SAP Sourcing Global Search.
Where can we find whether XML extract schedule executed without errors. We have logged in with system user but we are not able to find the exact location of this Scheduled task execution details.
We are getting error when we use global search in our sourcing system, so we want to check on XML extract from DB.
We are on Application Version: 9.0.17
Error: Your search could not be executed. You may need to quote some of the search terms if they are reserved SQL terms.
Wildcard searches may also fail if the wildcard is specified after just a single character (for example; r*)
If anyone have idea on the issue please let me know which parameter is causing this and guide me to get XML extract scheduled task details.

1. How to write a script in e-Sourcing. Can we use script definition for this?
2. How to add a new field to my RFX document?
3. How the script code will be called for new field(created above) in my RFX document? That is the binding between field and script.
4. How this scripts are run in background whenever we create RFX document?
For last question, I am expecting that when I create some RFX document, some code will run. I want to know how I can found out that which scripts are running and how they are getting executed?
If anyone have any sample example or document please provide me the link for it. And a detail document on Esourcing technical document is needed so that I can start with the simple script writing?

I'm trying to setup material replication from ERP to SAP Sourcing 10 via standard mechanism - files through FTPs.
I've configured the following:
1) Setup -> System Setup -> Integration -> File Transfer Configuration
2) Setup -> System Setup ->Scheduled Tasks
Schedule task refers to configured in Step 1) FTPs profile "FTP Indeksy, Usługi"
I put correct XML files (representing single material) into this FTP to directory /ftp/sourcing/TST/inbound/materials
But material files does not get imported. I've observed the following in the logs:
Setup -> System Administration -> Administrative Reports -> Background Task Status
It seems, that that import mechanism is searching for that directory as if "Local Directory" option was chosen and not on the FTP profile I provided.
When I created directory (/ftp/sourcing/TST/inbound/materials) on the local filesystem - just to confirm my theory and I put file with material there, everything worked fine - material got imported.
It means, that Schedule Tasks which base on Configured Directory option (which referes to FTP profile) is being ignored, and importing mechanism keep using "Local Directory" option.
Anyone experienced same problem?

Usually the Processed messages stay on for 7 days in the system, if I increase the number of days it may impact the system performance,
is there an standard Archival or reminder functionality, which helps us to archive or remind us every 7 days and we can maintain a log for processed messages, like for an year or so..

Looks like there is no change history tracking available for Line Items collection in SAP CLM. Did you come across any work around or enhancement which could be make decent effort to fill this gap in the product?
Share or suggest if you know any innovative approach to make change tracking applied for line items functionality.

We were trying to enable rebates in our master agreement type. But we observed that this is disabled for integrated documenty type (ERP/SRM). Is this standard behaviour. Can we somehow avoid this?
