HTML tags in Tooltips?

At one point HTML tags were working for some Tooltips we are using in SAP Sourcing (we are running Wave 9 SP17).  The HTML tags were included in the values of the localized resources that were being used for certain Tooltips and it was working at one point (see screenshot), but now it just shows the tags within the tooltip.

As you can see there are some breaks and bolding there (this was actually an old screenshot; we cleaned up this tooltip to make it look cleaner).  Now the tooltip is displaying as you see in the following screenshot:

Any idea why this would stop working?  I believe we went through a Service Pack upgrade between the time it was working and the time I realized it stopped working.

Error on CLM - ERP Integration

Hi experts,

 

We're trying to emend the systems and we came out with this problem. Does anybody know where is the option/steps to "ENABLE" the integration system ?

We already did everything on the "integration guide", both in PI and Sourcing steps.

 

 

This is the error that appears:

 

# Failed: object 4: ID: The record is ignored because ERP or SRM integration system is not enabled. Ask your system administrator to enable it.

Can payment term in differnt lanaguage can be used to generate contract document ??

Hi,

 

In sourcing/ CLM have a question :

Can  payment term in differnt lanaguage can be used to generate contract document in that language with payment terms in that languagae also, using contract document template.

 

Using tokens is this can be achieved.

Custom integration of user defined objects

What do I have to do if I want to integrate a user defined object to a backend or 3rd party system?

 

As there is no standard integration available to extend I guess this has to be done completely from scratch, right?

What would be the best way to achieve this?

An explicitly called script or are there other means to hook up an export of a user defined object?

 

Would be glad to get first pointers on how to start.

All other information on custom integration talks about using default export interface e.g. for contracts and then have custom routing logic in PI.

Auto-Filling a Value of a Contract Document

Hi Experts!

 

Is there a way to auto fill the contract type whenever Contract Document Template is chosen?

I see SAP CLM has one already by default, but is there a way to change the selection?

 

For Example:

When I generate a contract (img1), and chose the template, I want the Contract Document Type field to change it's value (img2), depending on what template is chosen, and the Purchasing Organization that master agreement belongs to.

RFx as a public event

Dear Colleagues,

 

In RFx type setup there is a checkbox "Publish as a Public Event" in the Rules section and I consider how it works. I checked this option in the document type configuration and when I created a new RFx of that type, I saw new "Publish Notice to all Suppliers" checkbox in the Schedule tab. I clicked it but when I processed the entire tender I didn't see any results of that option. By selecting this checkbox I expected that every supplier, which I have in the database, would get some information about ongoing tender (even if they weren't directly invited by me) via an email or via supplier portal in the Event channel. Subsequently they could ask us for invitation to this tender from supplier portal level...

 

Could You explain me how does "Publish as a Public Event" in RFx work or how to enforce scenario which I described above?

I am trying to size SAP CLM 10 but I am looking for the user concurrency definition to match my definition with the "50 concurrent users" benchmark.

- What are think time and response time?

- Is there any default repartition between low/medium/high usages?

Hi,

 

Have a doubt in sourcing/CLM:

 

for eg. we call a standarad query group like shown below,

'/contracts/contractlist?rqaction=loadsavedsearch&queryname=Z-QuickSearchAgreements'

So, similarly can we do for a custom query group?

Field's dependency in Sourcing 10

Dear Colleagues,
I have two questions about field's dependency in SAP Sourcing 10.

1. Is it possible to make a field which is depended on document's phase? For example, in phase "A" field will be non-editable and hidden. After changing phase to "B", this field will become editable.

2. Is it possible to make a field which is depended on the other field? For example, we have two extension definitions, both value list type. In the first of them we would like to have only two possible options to choose from. The values in the second extension field should be depended on the choice we made in that first field.

deduction in conract

Hi Expert,

I have big issue( deduction in contract) .

as you know deduction as per vendor in sap standard, but in my company, maybe one vendor have 3 contract and deduction pr contract is different how handle this issue because when invoice receipt FI department must check and change deduction per contract .

how can handle this issue.

Errors with contract clause question type and contract generation

Dear Colleagues,

I am struggling with two errors in SAP Sourcing 10.

 

1. First one occurs when I try to create "Contract Clause" question type in RFx. After setting all values for that kind of question in "Create new question" screen and clicking OK I get below error. I don't have that problem with other types of questions.

2. Second one occurs when I try to generate a contract from RFx. In the contract I want to have listed all the questions from RFx, so during creation of questions I used option Contract Variable and I connected each question with a proper token. All related screens are below:

And when I invoke contract generation I get below error:

Integration of SAP CLM with Documentum (DMS)

Hello Experts,

 

For one of our clients (using Sourcing 9) it is requested to store contract documents out of CLM server once they are reached an specific status/phase. In this specific case, it should be stored in Documentum.

 

In separated posts I've seen some similar questions:

However, it is still not clear for me the way to cover it. For that reason, I kindly ask you if you can suppport me on following questions:

 

  • According to previous posts, it is confirmed this functionality is possible. But due to there is not standard integration between CLM to DMS, do you know how it should be created?
    • Webservice?
    • Through integration with ERP?

 

  • Is there any specific configuration to be done at CLM to enable the integration or it is just via custom development?

 

  • Is there any documentation to be used as starting point to develop it?

 

In summary, any idea/support will be really appreciated.
