Target for Accessing a Supplier Record

Hi All,

I have a requirement to write a script to deny access to users who are not authorized for accessing the supplier Records.

The flow , is like 

Supplier Management  -> Search Supplier ->   will show a List of suppliers. 

  When clicked on one of the Supplier i have to execute the script  and display the error message.

   As of now i am using   ( Scripting Context:    Document Lifecycle Event )  and (Target  :   Loaded )

i read the documentation if i use Loaded Target there will be performance issues , 

it would be great if you have other ideas to execute the script using other scripting context and Target ..
